The 220 seat Djanogly Theatre at Lakeside hosts a year-round programme of contemporary drama, dance, comedy, literature and world, folk and jazz music. It’s ideal for small-mid scale performances and has rapidly developed an excellent reputation with national and international companies.
Eating before a performance
The Pavilion Cafe (previously known as Aqua) is open prior to performance events for pre-show suppers and refreshments. Although not always necessary to book in advance, it's advisable to ring to book a table on 0115 8467179.
Hiring the Djanogly Theatre
When not in use for Lakeside's performance programme, t's possible to hire the Djanogly Theatre for your own performance, launch, or conference-style event. Complete with a semi-sprung floor it's very suitable for dance, and has excellent technical facilities and technical crew in-house.
