One of the UK’s best compact concert halls much enjoyed by the range of national and international musicians performing there, the Djanogly Recital Hall at Lakeside originally opened in 1994. Its superb acoustic and ambience provide the ideal setting for a varied range of music from chamber recitals to cutting edge contemporary compositions.
Eating before a concert
The Pavilion Cafe (previously known as Aqua) Lakeside, situated 3 minutes walk from the hall in the D H Lawrence Pavilion next to the lake, is open prior to performance events for pre-show suppers and refreshments. Although not always necessary to book in advance, it's advisable to ring to book a table on 0115 8467179.
